A seasoned administrator, a professional, an erudite scholar, gender advocate, philanthropist, a woman of She started her working career in 1987 as a Graduate Assistant at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University and rose to the position of Senior Lecturer in 1999.
In 2001, she was seconded to the National Centre for Women Development, Abuja as Director, Planning Research and Statistics, a Parastatal under the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs.
She became a Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Women & Social Development on February 18. 2013 and later to Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation. She was mandated to step in as the Acting Secretary to the Government of the Federation on Wednesday 19th April 2017.
She returns to the Ecological Fund Office, (EFO), Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, (SGF) where she is currently serving as the 15th Permanent Secretary.
