He graduated from University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, Nigeria, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economic, Masters in Economics, Masters in Business Administration and a Ph.D all from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Nigeria.
He started his post-graduate work experience with Union Bank Plc. Had 21 years of his working life in the Banking and Finance Industry – (Union Bank Plc, Prudent Bank/Finance, Wema Bak Plc, Chartered Bank Plc/ICSL). A seasoned Banker, Financial Analyst, Portfolio Manager, and Chartered Stock Broker, He was the team leader in the privatization and commercialization exercise that resulted in Federal Government divestment of its interest in some of the Nation’s leading Banks, NAL Merchant Bank and others.
His outstanding success and achievement during the exercise, especially the strategic advanced leadership training program he organized and delivered to participants during the exercise, lead to the call for the establishment of professional Institute to help build Public Sector Professionals.
He left the industry as General Manager and took up the assignment, first as Consultant and then as Registrar/CEO. He has since the establishment, given the Institute the visionary leadership it requires to achieve its golden objectives.
