Graduated from Chicago State University Chicago, Illinois, USA. where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology (1974) and Master of Science (M. Sc) Degree in Natural Science.

He had his first post-qualification work experience at his Alma Mater, Chicago State University before joining Lagos State Civil Service. He rose to become Head of Service in September 1998 under the then military administrator of Lagos State, Brigadier-General Buba Marwa.

He retired as head of Service in June 1999 but was not tired. He was appointed to serve in various capacity after retirment. He was with IGI, Senior Special Adviser to the Minister, Federal Ministry of Works and B.T.R on Consultancy services.

This Guru was call back to duty as Chairman, Lagos State Local Government Service Commission where he gave another five years of meritorious service to Lagos State.

He is presently the President and Chairman of Council of Chartered Institute of Public Administration of Nigeria.
